Our Coaches

At Northwest Lacrosse Club, we believe lacrosse is bigger than the game. Our goal is to develop great men and leaders first, young people with character, accountability, and purpose. The lacrosse will follow. For players with collegiate ambitions, we are committed to helping them get there, developing the skills, film, and exposure needed to compete at the next level and connecting them with the programs that are the right fit. Everything we do on the field is designed to build something that lasts well beyond the final whistle.

Alex Stull

Alex brings 16 years of coaching and playing experience to the sideline, spanning youth development through NCAA Division II. A decorated player, Alex is an all-time record holder at Emmanuel University for career goals and points, a two-time All-Conference selection, and was ranked in the national top 10 in goals during two separate NCAA seasons.

His coaching career has matched that standard at every level. Alex spent nearly a decade building Elk River's youth program—first as an assistant (2010–2014), then as U14 head coach and offensive coordinator for the varsity team (2015–2019). He served as head coach and director of Southern Express Lacrosse (GA) from 2019–2021, interim head coach at Emmanuel University (NCAA D2) from 2021–2023, offensive coordinator at the University of Georgia in 2021, and co-head coach at Strong Rock Christian School in 2023, where he was named Henry County Coach of the Year.

Now back leading the Elk River varsity program, Alex has made an immediate impact: the team posted the best regular-season record in program history and earned the program's first-ever No. 1 seed in their section. He was also selected as Section 8’s 2026 All-Section Head Coach of the Year.

Alex's approach is simple: develop players as athletes and competitors, build a culture of accountability, and bring college-level thinking to every level of the game.

Ryan Millane

Ryan Millane knows what it takes to win. After playing collegiately at Emmanuel University (D2), he stepped into coaching and helped lead West Forsyth Boys Lacrosse in Georgia to a state championship which is a testament to both his lacrosse IQ and his ability to develop and inspire athletes at the highest level.

With six years of coaching experience, Ryan understands what players need to see in order to grow and he channels that knowledge into his work behind the camera. Whether it's breaking down game footage, highlighting recruiting moments, or building content that tells the NW LAX story, Ryan's film brings the Wolves to life on and off the field.

Beyond his role with NW LAX, Ryan runs D1Solutions, an Instagram platform dedicated to elite lacrosse videography and player development content. His work has earned a reputation for cinematic quality and attention to detail that sets his athletes apart when it matters most, in front of college coaches.

Tanner Hagglund

Tanner Hagglund is as homegrown as it gets. A product of Elk River High School lacrosse, Tanner developed a deep love for the game that never left and instead of walking away after his playing days, he came back to give the next generation the same experience that shaped him.

In six years on the Elk River coaching staff, Tanner has been a cornerstone of building this program into something special. His commitment to player development, his Lacrosse IQ, and his ability to connect with athletes have helped transform Elk River Lacrosse into a program others measure themselves against. In 2026, that work was formally recognized when he was named All-Section Assistant Coach of the Year, an honor that reflects what those around him have known for a long time.

Tanner is the kind of coach who makes everyone better, and his fingerprints are all over what this program has become.

Daman Lingasin

Daman Lingasin has been playing lacrosse at a high level for longer than most. At Osseo Park Center, he wasn't waiting for his turn, he earned a varsity spot in 7th grade and held it through his senior year, a six-year run that speaks to both his skill and his competitiveness. He took that same drive to Wingate University, where he played at the NCAA D2 level and continued developing the Lacrosse acumen that now defines his coaching.

After his playing career, Daman wasted no time getting to work. He joined the Armstrong coaching staff for a season before stepping into the Elk River program as Offensive Coordinator — bringing the credibility of someone who has lived the game from a young age.

Now with NW LAX, Daman adds a dimension to this program that's hard to find. His playing pedigree, his eye for offensive/defensive development, and his ability to connect with players make him an invaluable piece of what we're building here. If you want to sharpen you game, you're in the right hands.
